Amahoro Guest House is affordable accommodation in a peaceful and serene park of Kinigi Musanze close to Volcanoes National Park Rwanda, where gorilla trekking and golden monkey tracking takes place in Rwanda.
Amahoro Guest house is also conveniently located a few streets away from Musanze town, making it ideal for access to restaurants, local markets, and shops when you visit Musanze either a s a base for your gorilla trek in Volcanoes Park Rwanda, or as a transit option on the way to Bwindi to trek the gorillas in Rwanda or if staying overnight on the way to Gisenyi and onward to Goma or Kibuye.

Amahoro Guest House is fairly small, boutique and private with a total of two small double rooms with en-suite bathrooms and three small twin bedrooms with three beds but with shared bathrooms. Please do not expect very large sized rooms here. It is all about budget, comfort and convenience when staying at Amahoro Guest House.
We therefore recommend very advance accommodation booking confirmations as the guest house is usually fully booked up well in advance especially during the peak gorilla trekking months of June, July, August and September.
Amahoro guest house has a beautiful cozy and secure private garden as well as an outdoor veranda. The kitchen is well furnished and fitted with modcons and guests are welcome to prepare their own meals if preferred
Amahoro Guest House serves continental breakfast to all guests as the room rates are inclusive of breakfast.
For guests staying at Amahoro Guest House but arriving by public transportation, the Ruhengeri bus station is a comfortable 10 min walk away from the guest house. Mini buses to Kigali depart from Ruhengeri every 30 min or as soon as they get filled up.

The wifi signal is not that great but we assume you are not staying here for broadband download wifi speeds. The bathrooms have hot water and the water pressure is okay but not that strong. Amahoro Guest House is basic, functional, budget, clean and comfortable and reasonably priced compared to other accommodations in the Kinigi Musanze area.
The biggest plus and greatest asset of Amahoro Guest House are the extremely helpful and caring staff. They will assist you book taxis and permits for your hikes in the area as well as assisting with planning other excursions in the Volcanoes.
