As the Karibu brand and products widen, our involvement with and conservation of the natural world in our small ways becomes even more vital. We are committed to doing our bit to combat global warming. One of our directors owns a 120-acre pine and eucalyptus forest in Mityana-Uganda and a further 470 acres have been identified towards our efforts to off-set carbon emissions.

We intend to identify charitable organisations that we can partner with in both Rwanda and Uganda, for purposes of raising funds for specific conservation projects in the region. For every holiday and flight booked in 08/09, www.kariburwanda.com will donate an equivalent cost of planting a tree in both Rwanda and Uganda.
