Ingagi Park View Lodge is fully Rwandan owned, so your stay at the lodge will be directly benefitting local Rwandans and not a international hotel chain. Your stay at the lodge will contribute towards the conservation efforts being carried out in the local areas of the national park, it will offer much needed employment to the local youths and women that Ingagi Park View Lodge employ.

We aim to conserve and preserve for future generations and are proud of being a part of the Rwanda tourism fraternity, sharing Rwanda nature, flora & fauna plus wildlife and gorillas with guests who stay with us.
INGAGI is a Kinyarwanda word meaning “Gorilla”, The lodge is located on a sprawling 12 acres liece of land with beautiful nature, flora and fauna as well as being surrounded by the imposing
chain of the Virunga Volcanoes of Mt. Karisimbi, Mt. Bisoke, Mt. Sabyinyo, Gahinga and Mt. Muhabura among others.
Ingagi Park View Lodge is in the vicinity of the Ellen DeGeneres campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Research Center and guests wishing to trek to Dian Fossey's grave can stay the Ingagi Lodge when they visit. Ingagi Park View Lodge tells an unadulterated story of Rwanda and its rare gentle giants of the Virungas-The endangered mountain gorillas. Our staff and management are extremely friendly and helpful, eager to tell the story and history of Rwanda as they so well know it, their cluture, traditions and norms, their local dances, their experiences as well as their way of life.
Ingagi Lodge is an eco-lodge with 8 cottages that have been constructed using sustainable local materials where possible. Each of the Cottages has a private veranda and floor to ceiling windows that let it plenty of fresh air. The Ingagi lounge and bar are a great place to congregate in the evenings over a Rwandan coffee to reminisce over your gorilla trek or mountain climbing adventure.
After a hard day tracking gorillas, the lodge staff with arrange for cleaning of your dirty boots and shoes offer a massage or you may simply choose to relax around our open fire, or just enjoy a few drinks at the bar. Our meals are freshly prepared from local organic produce in keeping with our eco credentials.
At Ingagi Lodge, every guest receives a personalized experience.The lodge provides its own power from solar panels and a 50kVA generator. The water is supplied from a borehole as well as other extra-large storage waters tanks.

The lodge provides traditional experiences including making local handcrafts, agro-tourism, community support, and traditional entertainment including dance and drama. The lodge organizes community walks to the twin lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo, home visits and a story moment with the oldest resident who shares stories of the Dian Fossey and the “Mountain gorillas”. The community walks always culminate into a private picnic for the guests to enjoy nature and local food.
