Discover the beauty of Burundi in 1 week

Day 1. Arrival at Bujumbura.

Meet and Greet at Bujumbura airport and transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight in Bujumbura.

Day 2. Rusizi National Park.

After breakfast we transfer to Rusizi National Park.Game drives in the park and birding of a variety of endemic bird species. Afternoon at leisure to explore Rusizi park and surrounding areas

Day 3. Explore Burundi Museum and the Kagera falls.

AM visit to Kagera falls

PM: we drive to Gitega for a visit to the famous Burundi National Museum to take in some great and rich history and culture of Burundi.

Later we return to your hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 4. Bujumbura city tour

Conduct a tour of Bujumbura city. enjoy great views of Lake Tanganyika and in the afternoon visit the historical Livingstone site

Day 5. Rurubu National Park.

AM transfer from your hotel to Rurubu National Park in northern Burundi. Explore the park and later in the evening leisurely drive back to Bujumbura.

Day 6. Kibira Forest National Park.

AM transfer to Kibira forest. embark on forest walks to discover Kibira forest's rich diversity and fauna.

PM transfer back to Bujumbura. relax by the beach along the serene shores of Lake Tanganyika as you reflect on Burundi's rare beauty and serenity.

Day 7. Departure.
