This 10 days gorilla vacation package starts in Rwanda and ends in Rwanda. See the Rwanda mountain gorilla in Volcanoes National Park when you join this gorilla tour. Afterwards we explore the Lake Kivu area as part of a relaxing vacation package to Rwanda.

The tour package then proceeds to Nkuringo Uganda. For those clients who wish to trek the mountain gorillas in Uganda, this is a chance to meet the Nkuringo silverback gorillas in the Bwindi impenetrable forest. Spend a night in the magical Lake Bunyonyi area as part of this vacation package.

Vacation Day 1--
Arrival in Kigali.
Met on arrival at airport and transfer to Kigali. Transfer to your overnight Kigali accommodation and briefing on your safari. o/n Golf Hills Residence Kigali

Vacation Day 2:-
After breakfast, do the Kigali city tour and a visit to the genocide memorial. After lunch depart for PNV at 2pm. The journey north goes through the beautiful terraced hillsides that characterize much of Rwanda's landscape, gradually climbing to the base of the awesome volcanoes, sometimes with as many as five peaks visible. Arrival and check in for overnight at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge(FB basis)

Vacation Day 3-
Go gorilla tracking in Parc National des Volcans (subject to permit availability at the time of booking). Tracking the gorillas through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virungas is a magical experience. When you get to the gorillas, spend an hour with them, and be back at the base in time for a late lunch! Some gorilla families however are more elusive and tracking can take a full day, especially when it is wet and muddy.
Afternoon at leisure in the Virunga area. o/n Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge FB basis.

Vacation Day 4-
After an early breakfast, assemble at the park headquarters for registration for golden monkey tracking. Go tracking for golden monkeys as you embark on an exciting walk in the forest.
Return to the lodge in time for lunch. After lunch, activity options include visiting a local market, or visit a local school, community projects or drive to the twin Lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo.

Vacation Day 5-
After breakfast embark on a 1.5hrs drive to the Lake Kivu resort of Gisenyi. Check into Paradis Malahide Resort Hotel. Afternoon at leisure exploring the Lake Kivu area. You may go a boat ride on the Lake.

Vacation Day 6-

After breakfast transfer to Bwindi Uganda via the Cyanika border crossing o/n Nkuringo Gorilla Camp. Time permitting evening forest walk

Vacation Day 7 -
After breakfast transfer to Lake Bunyonyi through the Switzerland of Africa, with the road winding through many hills and valleys, with distant views of the volcanoes and lakes. Boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi O/N Bird's Nest
Lake Bunyonyi.

Vacation Day 8-
Leave for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Either drive via Ishasha, home of the tree climbing lion, roads permitting, or take the alternative route through cultivated expanses. Time permitting, go for an evening game drive O/N:
Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge FB basis.

Vacation Day 9-
Go for an early morning game drive to seek out wildlife, afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel and then go on an evening game drive. The game seen will depend on the season, the Kasenyi plains are good for lion and the Mweya peninsula for a variety of animals. o/n Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge FB basis.

Vacation Day 10-
After breakfast, transfer back to Kigali. You will get an opportunity to shop for crafts and later transfer to the airport for you onward outbound departure flight.
