DAY 1: KIGALI
Arrival at Kigali International Air port where you will meet with International Tours and Travel Air port representative.
After briefing you will be taken to Kigali Serena hotel BB then after and if time allows, go for the Kigali city tour which includes among others; Gisozi genocide memorial site, this visit takes you 2hrs.

Here you learn and get an insight into the history of genocide in Rwanda and other countries of the world. Thereafter proceed to Kimilonko Market one of the busiest and biggest markets in the city where you will enjoy and buy most of Rwanda traditional delicious food and interact with local people, continue to visit Nyarutarma Golf club then proceed to Belgium memorial site and Richard kandt historical museum.
Here you will be at the exact point where Kigali city started by a German colonialist and administrator in 1907.

After Lunch Ntarama and Nyamata Genocide memorial sites

Lunch at one of top gourmet city restaurants and after lunch, your guide/ driver will take you to Ntarama and Nyamata Genocide memorial sites out side Kigali . This will give you an insight into the evolution of the 1994 genocide tragedy that happened in Rwanda . Though here there is no charge for entrance, you may generously donate to assist in preservation of these genocide sites, your offer will be highly appreciated.

DAY 2: AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK

- Drive to Akagera national park, via Rusumo Water Falls on the Rwanda / Tanzania border
- Check in at Akagera Game Lodge for lunch
- Afternoon, the first classic savannah wildlife game drives / game viewing
- Dinner & overnight at your hotel BB

DAY 3: AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK

- The 2nd game drives in the southern sector of Akagera national park
- Lunch at the hotel
- Afternoon take a Motor Boat excursion trip on Lake Ihema (private arrangement) to see the giant Crocodiles and Hippos
- Dinner & overnight at your hotel BB

DAY 4: AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK
- Game drives / game viewing in the western circuit of Akagera national park
- Lunch at the hotel
- Free afternoon for resting, swimming, or just spent at leisure

DAY 5: Another exciting day at Akagera and then a leisurely drive back to Kigali in the evening.

- Full day of game drives / game viewing, from the south to the north of the park

DAY 6: BUTARE / NYUNGWE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

- Drive to the Nyungwe Forest National Park
- Visit the Nyanza and Butare national Museums

- Watch a performance of Rwanda Traditional Dancers, by the Intore Troupe-This one should not be missed
- Drive and check in at Gisakura guest house

DAY 7: NYUNGWE FOREST NATIONAL PARK / LAKE KIVU - CYANGUGU

- Morning Chimpanzee trekking experiences in the Nyungwe Forest National Park
- Lunch at Gisakura hotel
- Afternoon go for a Nature Walk, either to the Kamiranzovu Water Falls, or go for the Colobus Monkeys Nature Walk.

DAY 8: LAKE KIVU - CYANGUGU
After breakfast Transfer to Cyangugu town
- Drive to the Bugarama Hot Springs, with a stop-over to see the Rusizi River Rapids, just near the Rwanda/Burundi border
- Full day at the Bugarama Hot Springs, swimming in the curative "Spa” waters
- Picnic lunch will be served at Bugarama Hot Springs
- Return to Cyangugu town
- Dinner & overnight at your hotel BB

DAY 9: LAKE KIVU - KIBUYE

- Drive to Kibuye holiday resort town, passing through breathtaking mountains, deep valleys, and the typical Rwandan countryside of“1000 Hills topography
- Check in at Hotel Bethanie for lunch

DAY 10: LAKE KIVU – KIBUYE / AMAHORO ISLAND

- Breakfast will be served at the nearby scenic Amahoro Island , in Lake Kivu
- Motor Boat excursion trip on Lake Kivu, visiting several small islands, including the Napoleon Island , best known for its inhabitants of thousands of giant bats (vleermuizen)
- Lunch at Amahoro Island , in Lake Kivu
- Return to mainland for a walking tour of Kibuye town, taking in the genocide Church Memorial site, and local market

DAY 11: LAKE KIVU - GISENYI

- Drive to Gisenyi town, passing through a “green carpet of large Tea Plantations
- Check in at Lake Kivu Serena hotel for lunch
- Free afternoon for resting on the clean beaches of Lake Kivu , or just at the Swimming Pool- Take an excursion trip of Gisenyi town, the local market, the Kiaka Artisans Workshops, and take a glimpse of DR- Congo, at the Rwandan / DR-Congo border post

DAY 12: LAKE KIVU - RUHENGERI

DAY 14: VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK – MOUNTAIN GORILLAS / KIGALI
