Whether or not you scale the 5895m Uhuru Peak, it is well worth paying a visit to the world's highest freestanding mountain as it is home to an array of wild animals and some breathtaking landscapes!

This majestic mountain offers an exhilarating climb and panoramic views over the region. But even if you don't reach the top, the base area is superb with many a wildlife wonder and some shorter walks.

Mount Kilimanjaro defies belief. Who would have thought that a mountain almost 6000 m high could exist so close to the equator? And to prove it's no fluke, Mount Kenya is just over the border! From its snowcapped peak to elephants and giraffe basking in the forests & plains below, Kili really is one of the iconic images of Africa.

Relax in luxurious lodges at base of the mountain.

DAY 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro airport and picked up to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: MARANGU GATE- MANDARA HUT (2700M)
After breakfast, your guide will check up all your climbing gear and you will have a briefing. Then with picnic lunch from your hotel at moshi transfer to marangu gate (1980m)for registration then walking pole pole through rainforest to Mandara Hut for about 4hours then dinner and overnight Mandara hut.

DAY 3: MANDARA HUT(2700M ASL)-HOROMBO HUT(3720M ASL)
Breakfast at Mandara Hut, departure. Mandara Hut- Lunch break 3hrs
Lunch break 30-60mins
Lunch-Horombo Hut 3hrs
Dinner and Overnight

DAY 4: HOROMBO HUT 3700M-KIBO HUT 4700M
Breakfast at Horombo
Trek over the saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks 3hrs
Lunch break 30-60mins
Lunch - Kibo Hut 3hrs
Early Dinner and Preparation
Sleep.

DAY 5: KIBO HUT4700M-UHURU PEAK 5985M-HOROMBO HUT3700M

DAY 6: HOROMBO HUT 3700M- MARANGU GATE 1980M
Breakfast at Horombo
Pole pole descent 4-5hrs
Sign out at Marangu Gate
Lunch in town/ at your hotel
Celebrations and receive your Uhuru Peak Certificates, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 7: After breakfast proceed with plans or connect to Zanzibar.

Remarks:
-Supplement for Italian and Spanish speaking tour guide: 25USD/day/group.
-Accommodation is on the huts with more than four beds.
-Tour/safari is subject to change without prior notice due to tariffs increase, oil price increase, and the rate of USD to Tanzanian currency.
-The timing of sightseeing points shall be fixed by local tour operator and all activities must be cover unless amendment or cancellation is made by clients themselves (non –refundable for any cancellation made by clients).
-Meals are served as indicated on the itinerary and where meals not included you can get from the restaurant/hotel at 10USD.
