KILIMANJARO CLIMBING 6DAYS MACHAME ROUTE

DAY 1: MACHAME GATE(1800M ASL)- MACHAME HUT (2980M ASL)

Tranfer from the hotel Moshi to Machame Gate takes 1hour where you will sign in.
• Afterward you will start walking pole pole through the cloud forest for about 2.5hrs and then stop for lunch.
• Lunch-0.5 an hour
• Lunch stop through to Machame Hut-2.5hrs. where you will have dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: MACHAME HUT(2980M ASL)- SHIRA HUT(3840M ASL)
• After breakfast depart to Shira, pole pole to lunch stop 3hrs.
• Lunch stop to Shira Plateau and Shira Hut 2hrs.
• Relaxation/optional acclimatization to Shira 2
• Dinner and overnight at Shira Hut.

DAY 3: SHIRA HUT 3840M ASL- LAVA TOWER 4693M-BARRANCO CAMP 3900M ASL.
• After breakfast depart pole pole to lunch stop 3hrs.
• Lunch stop to Lava tower 1hr.
• Lava Tower to Barranco 3hrs
• Dinner and overnight at Barranco.

DAY 4: BARRANCO CAMP 3900M- KARANGA VALLEY-BARAFU CAMP 4600M.
• Early wake up and have breakfast, walking pole pole to Karanga for about 4hrs and stop for lunch at Karanga valley.
• Karanga valley to Barafu camp will take 3.5hrs and then dinner, preparation and early sleep.

DAY 5: BARAFU CAMP 4600M- UHURU PEAK 5895M- MWEKA HUT 3100M.
• 00:00 Depart pole pole from Barafu to Stella point for about 6hrs and then from Stella point to Uhuru peak 1hr.
• Uhuru to Barafu and stop for lunch.
• Barafu to Mweka Hut for about 6hrs, dinner and overnight at Mweka Hut.

DAY 6: MWEKA HUT 3100M- MWEKA GATE 1400M.

• Depart pole pole to Mweka Gate and sign out and transfer to your hotel where you will have lunch and celebrations and receive Uhuru Peak Certificates

Remarks:
-Supplement for Italian and Spanish speaking tour guide: 25USD/day/group.
-Tents are shared by 2people of the same sex.
-Tour/safari is subject to change without prior notice due to tariffs increase, oil price increase, and the rate of USD to Tanzanian currency.
-The timing of sightseeing points shall be fixed by local tour operator and all activities must be cover unless amendment or cancellation is made by clients themselves (non –refundable for any cancellation made by clients).
-Meals are served as indicated on the itinerary and where meals not included you can get from the restaurant/hotel at 10USD.
