THE REAL KILIMANJARO SAFARI 10 DAYS: 10days / 9nights

DAY 1: Arrival at the Kilimanjaro airport and picked up to the hotel.

DAY 2: MARANGU GATE (1860M)-MANDARA HUT (2700M)
After briefing and check out all your climbing gear, you will be transferred to Marangu Gate and after admission ; you will start walking pole pole through the rainforest and stop for lunch. After lunch the trek will proceed to Mandara Hut. The total trekking ours is 3-4 hours, you will have dinner and overnight at Mandara Hut. 3 meals a day included.

DAY 3: MANDARA HUT (2700M)- HOROMBO HUT (3700M)
After early morning breakfast , you will start trekking pole pole passing through timberline and then enter the health and moor zone. The trekking will take 5-6 hours to reach Horombo Hut which is standing at an altitude of 3700m. From there you will have a fantastic view of mawenz, kibo and the wide plain of maasai steppe. Dinner and overnight at Horombo Hut. 3 Meals a day included.

DAY 4: HOROMBO HUT (3700M) – KIBO HUT (4700M)
Today the trek will take long before reaching kibo hut therefore early start is important, it is a tough day as trekking will take 6-7 hours. You will pass through vegetationless plateau and then enter the saddle between mawenzi and Kibo. Dinner, preparation and early sleep because you will wake up at 23:00 hours.

DAY 5: KIBO HUT (4700M)- UHURU PEAK(5895M)- HOROMBO HUT(3700M)
This is the summit stage, it begins at midnight when the lava ash is frozen and walking on it is easier. You will pass through Hans Meyer Cave at 5220m, pole pole but surely goes upwards , then for about 6 hours you will be at Gillman’s point (5681m) the crater rim of Kilimanjaro. After a further hike of 1-2 hours, you will reach Uhuru Peak (5895m) the roof of Africa. Then you will go down following the same path; and stop at Kibo for a short rest and lunch.
Afterward you be on your way to Horombo Hut where you will arrive at the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Horombo Hut.

DAY 6: HOROMBO HUT(3700M)- MARANGU GATE(1860M)- MOSHI(HOTEL)
After breakfast you will start descending pole pole to Marangu National Park Gate and stop at Mandara Hut for lunch. Then you will proceed walking through the rainforest to the Gate and after sign out , transfer to the hotel at Moshi where you will have dinner and celebrations for your uhuru peak achievement.

DAY 7: MOSHI- TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast you will drive to Tarangire national park the mostly populated park in the north with Elephants and also you see big cats such as lions, leopards and Cheetahs. Not only that but also you will see Zebras, Giraffes, Impalas, Thompson gazelle and many others. After a wonderful game drive you will drive to Bougainvellea lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 8: NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater the big unbroken Caldera the eight’s wonder of the world. You will have a fantastic game drive at this crater also known as a Garden of Eden due to its highest mammalian population on earth. Late afternoon you will drive to Ngorongoro wildlife lodge or similar at the crater rim where you will have a beautiful view over the crater. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro wildlife lodge or similar.

DAY 9: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara national park for a full day game drive. Lake Manyara is famous a a home of Flamingos. You will see wild animals such as Elephants, Lions, Zebras,Giraffes and many more. Dinner and overnight at Bougainvillea lodge or similar.

DAY 10:MANYARA- ARUSHA/MOSHI
After breakfast drive back to Moshi/Arusha and continue with you plans to Zanzibar or airport and depart back to your country. Breakfast included.

Remarks:
• Single room supplement for the lodge/hotel during international and national holidays like Chrismas, New year,Easter,Tanzania Independence day,Muungano day, Sabasaba day on 7th July and International Labour day for Deluxe lodge 200USD and standard lodges/hotels 80USD.
• Accommodation bases on standard rooms, luxury rooms can be arranged subject to availability and additional charge.
• Hotels are booked 2month in advance before the arrival day.
• Supplement of Italian, Spanish speaking tour guide: 25USD/day/group.
• Timing of sightseeing shall be fixed by local tour operator and all activities must be covered as it is on the itinerary unless amendment or cancellation is made by clients themselves(non refundable for any cancellation made by clients).
• Meals are served as indicated on the itinerary and where not applicable you can get from restaurants/hotels at supplement cost of 10USD.
