Bakiga lodge is situated in the Ruhija sector of Bwindi National Park. Bakiga Lodge is a welcome addition to the accommodation facilities avalable in this part of Bwindi.
If you are trekking the Oruzogo or Bitakura gorilla group of Bwindi, Bakiga Lodge is the perfect base for your meeting with the gentle gorilla giants of Bwindi Uganda.

Bakiga Lodge has fantastic views overlooking the Bwindi valleys. Accommodation facilities at the lodge are some of the best out of all available options in Ruhija.

When the Karibu Rwanda team reserved clients in one of the neighboring lodge options, the review we received prompted us to give Bakiga Lodge a 2nd look. Bakiga Lodge is now our preferred accommodation of choice in this part of Bwindi.

Client review May 2013-"We stayed at xxxxx Safari Lodge and hated it. Most expensive and worst accommodation experience of the trip. Just letting you know as you may not want to recommend it in the future. We did look at the other accommodations while we were there and would book Bakiga Lodge in the future (which you also recommended).

Bakiga Safari Lodge is located in Ruhija, Bwindi, 1.5hrs drive from Kabale town and a comfortable 1km from the Gorilla tracking meeting point.
