Description

Bwindi Jungle Lodge is found on Rubuguli road about 10kms from Kisoro town on Lake Mulehe, about 20 kms from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Southern gate.

The Lodge which is built in the mountain Gorilla’s home, has a charming location excellent for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Gorilla trackers especially those tracking in the Southern part of the park.

This jungle Lodge was ingrained in the forest cover, but at the same relishing from the lake and watching the birds. This area has so many bird species for the birders to appreciate.

The Lodge is comprised of cottages with private balconies and private bathrooms and toilets. The balconies are well raised set up with timber and stones collected from the surrounding area. Each cottage has a view of the lake view and the forest.

There is a restaurant and bar also raised and built with volcanic stones featuring a traditional and local design.

For those flying to the park, the lodge is about 3kms from the Kisoro airstrip.
