Description

Irungu Forest Lodge is a great starting point for Queen Elizabeth National safaris and activities.

The Lodge has a one of a kind setting bordering Kazinga channel and surrounded by the Park Savannah.

The Lodge offers cottages and tents for accommodation designed to offer guests privacy as well intimacy but not forgetting the jungle and safari feeling.

There are five Luxury thatched cottages and four tents in a quiet jungle environment, all with the open savannah view. The Luxury cottages were handcrafted using local materials, they have grass-thatched roofs, wooden floors and canvas which be folded for sunlight and views.

Regular cottages have one big space used as sitting area and sleeping area. There is one double bed, and a four poster star bed which can be wheeled out to veranda if one requires to sleep outside while gazing at the stars. They have a cosy bathroom and shower supplied with both hot and cold water. Hot water provided by a local heating stove.

There are two spacious tents equipped furnished with aired pumped camper’s mattress set up in a cool forestry.
