Description

The Lodge is found in Queen Elizabeth National Park overlooking Lake George.

At the Lodge the sun rises from backdrop of Kyambura Gorge reflecting shores of Lake George thus a stunning view.

The surrounding Savannah plains with the wildlife contributes to the beautiful Lodge ambiance, and sometimes waking up to the hippo moans and birds singing.

Marafiki Lodge built by locals from the community from eco-friendly local materials, built from eucalyptus poles, with wooden floors completed with canvas. The private bandas are luxurious and spacious as well, one can enjoy the views right from inside of their room.

The bandas are en-suit, with open-air shower, where one gets to enjoy a shower in the jungle.

At Marafiki Lodge there are three Luxury furnished tents, furnished in African style and also with beautiful views of the park.
For Budget travellers we have four Luxury dormitories that accommodate up to 16 people.

After the end of the day’s activities our guests can enjoy the campfire while gazing at the starts and having a great conversation.

While at Marafiki guests are given a chance to visit local communities, and learn about their culture and history. Participating in the locals daily activities, tasting the local meals and enjoying the traditional dances is a memorable experience our guests get to have.

Our guests enjoy their freshly prepared breakfast on the restaurant’s balcony ahead of the day’s activities. Also the mouth-watering meals are served here or preferably in the rooms.

We also have a lounge and bar where one can relax and enjoy a drink after a long day.
