Mihingo Lodge, Mihingo Safari Lodge, Lodges in Lake Mburo Park, Mihingo Lodge Lake Mburo Uganda.
Mihingo lodge Lake Mburo National Park Uganda is awesome luxury accommodation in Lake Mburo park Uganda for travellers who appreciate beauty, location and luxury. The price is fairly steep, but well worth every penny. We highly recommend Mihingo Lodge.
Mihingo Lodge is a peaceful and exclusive retreat adjacent to Lake Mburo National Park.
Each luxury tented room at Mihingo Lodge is perched on a private piece of rock, enabling guests to enjoy the tranquil environment in complete seclusion. Placed in varied settings, some rooms at Mihingo Lodge are situated in a forest, some with a lake view, and some on rocky outcrops.
In appreciation of its fragile surroundings, Mihingo Lodge is an environmentally friendly accommodation of choice for guests seeking an authentic safari accommodation experience when they visit Lake Mburo National Park, the closest game park to Kampala being only 4hrs drive away from the city centre and half way between Kampala/Entebbe and Bwindi for clients going gorilla trekking in Uganda, making Mihingo Lodge the ideal stop over safari lodge for travellers to Bwindi from Kampala.
The buildings at Mihingo Lodge are constructed in such a way as to melt into the rocky outcrops and savannah landscape around them. Electricity, hot water, and water pumps are solar powered and there is a natural water catchment system to take advantage of the rains making Mihingo Lodge an ecofriendly safari lodge that minimises its impact on climate change.
Lake Mburo is home to many different animal species, including zebra, eland, and impala, which are not found in most other National Parks in Uganda. Visit Lake Mburo and stay at Mihingo Lodge if you are seeking for luxury and comfort while on safari in the Pearl of Africa-Uganda.
Additionally Lake Mburo has big numbers of waterbuck, topi, buffalo, hippo, duiker, bushbuck, klipspringer and if you are lucky you will see oribi, reedbuck, leopard and crocodiles. .
The main dining area at Mihingo Lodge is a large thatched structure built on top of rocks using wood from dead weathered olive trees found on the land, and native grasses. Below the dining area, an infinity swimming pool stretches out from the rocks and seems to disappear into the vast landscape beyond Lake Mburo National Park.
From the dining and pool area, guests can enjoy stunning views of the valley and itssplending evening sunsets over Lake Mburo National Park.
Animals gathering in the valley provide guests with fantastic game viewing opportunities or a chance to relax and watch wildlife at water hole below the pool
