Queen Elizabeth National Park  which is quite probably Uganda’s most popular tourist destination. The park’s diverse ecosystems include large open tracts of  savanna,  humid forests for beautiful forest walks, clear fresh water  lakes and fertile wetlands, making Queen Elizabeth the traveller's dream  habitat for rare big game, 10 primates species including chimpanzees and over 600 species of birds.

Set against the backdrop of the  rugged  Rwenzori Mountains, the park’s magnificent offerings include tens  of huge craters carved dramatically into rolling green hills, awesome splendid  views of the Kazinga Channel with its river  banks lined with hippos, buffalo and elephants, and the endless Ishasha plains, whose fig trees hide lions ready to pounce on herds of unsuspecting Uganda kob.

 Murchison Falls National Park  is located in  the Albertine Rift Valley, and is Uganda's largest and oldest conservation area, hosting 76 species of mammals and 451 bird species

The park is bisected by the renowned River  Nile, which plunges 45m over  rift valley wall, creating the dramatic Murchison Falls, the magnificent jewel of Murchison Falls Nationa park .. This stretch of  the mighty Nile river provides one of Uganda's most awes inspiring  wildlife scenes. Regular visitors to the riverbanks of Murchison Falls National Park  include elephants, giraffes and buffaloes; while hippos, Nile crocodiles and aquatic birds are permanent residents. All these can be seen up close and personal during the exciting boat cruises that take place daily in the afternoons.
